Actors, singers and philanthropists finally released their inner animals 🤭 Let's see together what their favourite kigurumis are!
Even though Kigurumis are mostly known in Japan, where they were born, that doesn't mean they can't have a certain charm ✨️ in Europe and USA. And that, of course, because of the Nerd Culture: cosplayers, geek influencers, streamers wearing them while playing or just chilling with their fans. 💁
Yes, nerd conventions and the social media have been helpful to let our dear Kigurumis spreading around the world, but there are others who really gave them a leg up.
That's right, the celebrities!
As we wrote in our previous article we said that celebrities do love Kigurumis. A lot. And they certainly helped them spreading around the world. 🌍
But what celebrity does love Kigurumis so much that he wants to wear them in public occasions?
We did a paparazzi research 📸 and made up a list of celebrities who do love Kigurumis:
1. Miley Cyrus
If we say Hannah, you say...
That's right, Miley Cyrus is one of the actresses who did really define our childhood (or at least a part of it) and our youth. 🥲
First by playing Hannah Montana in the homonymous tv series on Disney Channel, then by playing evergreen songs like "Wreking Ball" or "Midnight Sky".
She also wore a unicorn Kigurumi while making a cover of "Don't dream it's over" with Ariana Grande, which it takes us to the next celebrity. 👇
2. Ariana Grande
And here there is the Queen of Kigurumis.👸
Ariana has been seen wearing her beloved and soft animals costumes in many special occasions, even while walking on the Red Carpet.
That's right, she's not just a pop idol and a landmark for million of boys and girls, she's also a Kigurumis' lover, a great one!
3. Cara Delevigne
British top model, who has also made her appearance in some movies and tv series.
Cara Delevigne also got a certain sensibility 🥺 about endangered animals who get hunt everyday to take their horns or skin away. She also became an ambassador on the "I'm Not a Trophy" global campaign against the illegal hunt of lions, rhinos and elephants.
Could her sensibility be the reason she chose to wear a Panda Kigurumi? 🐼 Probably.
4. Lily Allen
Even the famous singer Lily Allen couldn't resist the charm of a Dinosaur Kigurumi. 🦖 Prehaps you know her for her successful song "Fuck you", a beatiful song against homophobia, which made her climb the global rankings. Well, we guess she would never say those bad words to the fluffy animals we all love to wear, for no reason at all!

Richard Branson is a businessman, a philanthropist... and a lemur, apparently 😯
He's not only famous for being one of the richest person on Great Britain and founder of the Virgin Group, but also for becoming the First Space Tourist and, for all we know, the Kigurumi owner who ever got on space! 🚀
7. Norman Reedus
Keep calm, everybody! Ain't no zombie invasion in here 🧟 just a badass actor enjoying his time with his Skeleton Kigurumi. 💀
He earned his fame by playing Daryl Dixon on "The Walking Dead" and, most recently, the main character of the new console game "Death Stranding"
Who would have expected to see him him wearing a Kigurumi? Everyone, of course, cause they're badass as well! 💪
8. Gerard Way
Same Kigurumi, different role, different generation.
Known by being the famous frontman from the first 2000' group "My Chemical Romance", Gerard Way is an historical wearer of Skeleton Kigurumis 💀 since a decade ago and, after the first time he wore it, no one ever questioned the reason of it, same with the second or the third 🤷♂️
He just likes them, simple as that!

That's right, you have read well. This time we're not talking about an actor but a scene in which Asher wears a dinosaur Kigurumi on the famous Tv Series "How to get away with murder"! 🍿
